In March of this
year, DiveTek was contracted to install a new gas management
system into the Boating and Diving Department at the School of
Zoology at the University of Tasmania, Hobart Campus.
The University
choose the quality of a Bauer High pressure compressor and also
the superior Nitrox production of an NRC PG 300 Membrane utilising
the great performance and low noise qualities of an Atlas Copco
GX5FF Low Pressure Compressor.
The new system is
capable of storing 99,000 litres of air and also 67,000 litres of
Nitrox up to 36%
All hardware,
fittings, design, installation and testing was carried out by
DiveTek and this University would now, without argument, have one
of the finest and most up to date Nitrox and mixed gas systems in
Australia.
