Daryl Waters began
diving in Geelong in the summer of 1984. Working for an extensive
period of time in the Geelong area in dive retail and dive
instruction, Daryl gained valuable knowledge of the dive industry.
Daryl worked
overseas as a dive instructor in such places as Great Britain, The
United States and also Europe.
Cairns was called
home for over 7 years and in that time, Daryl assisted over 10,000
people to enjoy the reef through resort style diving experiences.
Daryl started
DiveTek in December of 2001. Since this date, DiveTek has grown
from strength to strength.
Daryl holds
instructor ratings from three different training agencies and is
also a qualifies Advanced Care Paramedic, first aid instructor and
holds Cert 4, Workplace Training, as well as being trained and
certified to Advanced Nitrox, Buddy Inspiration Closed Circuit
Rebreather and is a certified Cave Diver.
Daryl also has
other interests such as dirt bike riding, shipwreck research and
his family.
